Many systems are let down by inferior quality cables. Satellite TV 4 Boats technicians have seen systems installed where the connectors have come off the end of cables, cheap low quality AV or HDMI Cables giving fuzzy pictures, or installations where cheap composite video cables have been used. Satellite TV 4 Boats only uses the highest quality Ocean TV cabling and connections, as well as fully tested and certified accessories for use with Ocean TV and STV SatVision. Because of our buying power, often our cables are the same as the high end Hi Fi stores but at less than half the price. You can be assured a Satellite TV 4 Boats System will be second to none, and will only use very the very best cables, splitters, switches and IR Systems. |

| Satellite RG6 Coxial Cables OCEAN TV Antenna Cables All Satellite TV 4 Boats RG6 Antenna Cables are custom made by OCEAN TV. This cable is the most important cable in the Satellite Antenna System, it carries the Power and Data to and from the Antenna. Inferior cables can suffer from voltage and signal drop, resulting in a smaller region area the Antenna can actually work in. Only the best cable is used to deliver the very best satellite reception and resolution. Poor quality cabling often have connectors that fall off or become loose. All cables use compression F-Type Connectors at each end are designed for RG6 Quad Shielded Cable, not cheap crimped on connectors. Splitters - Converters - Digital Matrix Switches HDMI Splitters
Many installs require a HDMI Signal
to be split to several TV's on board. This is often done when
there is one Pay TV Satellite Receiver, but it is displayed on
several TV's at the same time. Satellite TV 4 Boats have a
number of HDMI Splitters that also boost the HDMI signal to achieve
this, HDMI Converters Certain Pay TV Satellite Receivers do not offer a HDMI output, only the older AV outputs via SCART.. Satellite TV 4 Boats has a special SCART/AV to HDMI Converter that also scales resolution up to HD 1080p. This then allows the use of of HDMI Splitters, Digital Matrix Switches and the very latest HD Televisions. Old Standard Resolution SCART is Input, and High Definition Resolution HDMI is Output. Also the Audio is separated if required for input into a surround sound system. HDMI Digital Matrix Switches These switches allow up to four inputs, Pay TV, VAST FTA, DVD/Blue ray and Media HHD, to be output to 2 or 4 outputs. Each output can have any of the four inputs displayed, or a signal input can be displayed on all TV's at the same time. Often used on larger vessels with 4 Televisions. Each input can be switched by a master remote control to any TV, allowing each input to be shared. |

| IR Extensions Signal Room IR Extensions allow Satellite Receivers, Digital Matrix Switches, DVD Players etc, to be hidden away from view, in a cupboard for example, and yet still be controlled via a standard IR Remote Control (IR- Infra Red). This is important in a boat, as it allows a very clean looking install, with all cables boxes etc concealed, and also allows everything to be installed in a dry location. Satellite TV 4 Boats uses only Foxtel approved IR Extensions, as cheaper brands often do not work on IQ Style Satellite Receivers. Up to four individual devices can be controlled by the one IR extension. A small IR emitter is placed on each component, and then a IR Receiver is placed near the Television to receiver the IR Remotes commands. Multi - Room IR Extensions Similar to the above Single Room System, a multi room model is available that allows remote controls to work at each Television location, controlling each device independently. |
